Window Decorating Contest
Eligibility:
- The contest is open to all local businesses within the community.
- Businesses must register to participate by the specified deadline of Friday, Sept. 13.
Theme:
- Window decorations must align with the official Homecoming theme “We Got the Beat”.
- Designs should promote school spirit and celebrate the Homecoming event.
Design Guidelines:
- Businesses are encouraged to be creative and incorporate the official Homecoming theme “We Got the Beat”.
- Decorations should be appropriate for all audiences and must not include offensive or inappropriate content.
- All elements of the design must be safely and securely installed on the business’s windows.
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and Originality: How unique and creative is the design?
- Theme Adherence: How well does the design reflect the Homecoming theme?
- School Spirit: How effectively does the design promote school pride?
- Overall Presentation: How visually appealing and well-executed is the design?
Judging Process:
- A panel of judges will visit each participating business to evaluate the window decorations.
- Judging will be based on the criteria listed above, and each criterion will be scored on a scale of 1 to 10.
- The business with the highest total score will be declared the winner.
Prizes:
- The winning business will receive a Wildcat Swag Bag.
Timing:
- All decorations must be completed and ready for judging before 10:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20. Judging begins at 10:45 a.m.
- The winner will be announced at the Homecoming Pep Rally.
Safety and Liability:
- Participants must ensure that decorations do not obstruct the view through the windows in a way that could compromise safety.
- Businesses are responsible for the safety and security of their decorations.
- The contest organizers are not liable for any damage or injury resulting from participation in the contest.
Participation Agreement:
- By entering the contest, businesses agree to abide by these rules and accept the judges’ decisions as final.

To participate in the homecoming parade, the following forms must be completed and returned to the float/group sponsor and the Homecoming coordinator will collect the entire group’s forms at the parade during lineup. Individual forms will not be accepted.

Admission Cost – Cash only
Adults: $4
Student: $2
Neosho Students and Staff: Free - Neosho High School students and staff must present their school ID at gate and younger students must be accompanied by adult.
Season Pass: $50, available for purchase at the gate or during school hours at Neosho High School or Neosho Junior High Office.
