Telemedicine Services
-
We are happy to announce that our schools have Telemedicine services available from the nurse's office. The Newton County Commissioners and Freeman Neosho Hospital has made it possible to offer this service to the NSD Team and our students. Our goal is to keep our students and team healthy and in school by providing prompt, convenient, access to a healthcare provider. If a student becomes sick at school and needs to see a medical provider, our school nurse will offer the opportunity for a Telemedicine visit with a Freeman provider. Parents can be virtually present at the Telemedicine visit by accessing a secure link using their cell phone, computer, or other smart device. This allows parents to see, hear, and interact with the medical provider, their children, and the school nurse. To learn more about Telemedicine, click the links below.
