Junior High ELD

The Neosho Junior High is set up with a  neighborhood teaching model. There are eight neighborhoods: four seventh and four eighth grade.  In each neighborhood there are three classrooms. The co-teaching model is used throughout the building. ELD will be integrated into every classroom. Some teachers will serve students as Designated ELD instructors and will receive targeted professional development. The ELD Specialist will co-teach within classrooms serving  ELs who score at proficiency levels 1, 2, or 3.
