Welcome to the Chromebook Room

  •

Neosho School District is committed to creating lifelong learners equipped for global success. Our 1:1 initiative provides personalized opportunities designed around the needs of our learners. The platform that we have chosen after researching and visiting other schools across the country is the Google Chromebook and it’s related suite of applications.

The Google platform was chosen as it best suits the collaborative and open nature of ‘Project-Based’ or ‘Blended’ learning which, as research has shown, best meets the needs of learners.

The Chromebook Room is located at on the Neosho High School campus just off of the cafeteria and is managed by Mr. Rodney Griffin. If your learner should ever need assistance with a school device, the Chromebook Room is the one-stop-shop.

As we work to complete our 1:1 Initiative, more device centers will be added. Starting this year, a 1:1 Center will be added at the Neosho Middle School campus under the direction of Brady Daugherty.
